What sets Nasha apart is the raw intensity Rohan brings to his role — especially in one of the film’s most challenging sequences. The scene required him to smoke continuously in a single take while performing a physically demanding act involving self-inflicted burning. Balancing emotional authenticity, precise body language, and visual impact wasn’t easy; multiple retakes were needed to get every detail just right.
The challenge extended beyond performance. Repeated smoking and physical strain began taking a toll on his health, making the shoot exhausting. Yet, Gandotra remained unwavering, pushing through discomfort to ensure the scene resonated on screen.
Reflecting on the experience, he said, “It was one of the most physically and emotionally draining scenes I’ve ever done. There were moments when my body wanted to give up, but as an actor, you have to stay true to the emotion. I wanted the audience to feel the pain, not just see it. That meant pushing my own limits, and I gave it everything I had.”
